Hi everyone! I have a quick polish swatch to share today so let's get right into it.
Misa Lather, Rinse, Repeat is a bright pink creme. I think this polish is perfect for the summer time since its such a bold color. The formula and application was a little streaky so it was a little hard to work with. The polish didn't even out on the surface and wasn't very shiny on its own so for these swatches, I applied top coat. This is two coats with top coat.
The polish is a fun bright pink but its not one I wear too often. The formula wasn't the best so application for me was a bit of a pain. It is a very fun color to wear for summer though. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! First off, I wanted to let you know that I recently got a job again. I started working last week, only part time at the moment though. I do intend to keep up with posting at least 2-3 times a week for my blog though unless I get too busy. Its a good thing I have a few weeks of posts lined up already so let's see today's manicure.
I used American Apparel Trenchcoat on the ring and middle nail. I created a dotting design using a combination of Sephora by OPI Bright as a Feather, American Apparel Factory Grey, and American Apparel Dynasty. For the rest of the nails, I used Sephora by OPI Bright as a Feather. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I didn't know what I was going for when I was creating the dotting design but I kind of liked the result of it. I used a lot of different polishes in the dotting design which made it more colorful. What do you think?

Hi everyone! So for today's nail art design, I decided to use one of the few scented polish I own for the base polish. I kind of regretted it afterwards though since the scent on the polish gave me a headache for the rest of the day. The color was pretty though so let's see the nail art.
First, I used Revlon Parfumerie Ginger Melon on all the nails except the ring. Next, I stamped with China Glaze Devotion with stamping plate BP-31 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the ring nail, I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud and topped it off with China Glaze Point Me To The Party. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
The scented polish from Revlon applied a little uneven on the nails but overall, I thought the manicure turned out okay. The stamping looks great but the glitter I used kind of bubbled on my accent nail pretty badly. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Here's a quick swatch post of a glitter polish from China Glaze. I realize I own quite a few of these multi-colored glitters like the one I'm showing today. They all look pretty mcuh the same on the nails so its really just a choice of which brand you prefer. Anyways, let's see the polish.
China Glaze Pizzazz has a mix of silver, blue, green, fuchsia, orange, and yellow hexagon glitters in a clear base. This glitter reminds me of many rainbow glitters from other brands so its not very unique of a polish to me. The formula was good and for application, I did have to use the dabbing method to get the glitters evenly distributed on my nails. If you want full coverage, I suggest sponging the glitter onto the nails. This is one coat over Essie Splash Of Grenadine.
This glitter polish was really nice to work with. It had a good mix of colors in it and application on it was pretty great with just one coat applied on the nails. I already own a few like this one though so its not the most unique glitter polish I've seen though. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's nail art design, I was in the mood to use my dotting tool. Your able to create so many different patterns and designs with a dotting tool so here's one I created on the spot with a mix of different colors.
I used Sephora by OPI Havana Dreams on my ring and middle nail. I created the starburst dotting pattern design with a dotting tool using Sephora by OPI Skinny Jeans, American Apparel Rouge, and American Apparel Mouse. For the rest of the nails, I applied Sephora by OPI Skinny Jeans. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I'm so happy with this starburst dotting pattern design. I didn't really have an idea on what it was going to look like but it turned out pretty nice. I want to try out this design with a different color combination now too. What do you think?

Here's my review on the Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub from Wishtrend. I got the opportunity to either review this body scrub or a shampoo and conditioner set so I opted for the first choice. I've never used a body scrub before so I was interested in seeing how this one would would work out for me. So, let's see my review on it.
Description
Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub is a body scrub made with round cut walnut shells to gently remove dead skin cells and impurities on the skin in a natural, gentle way. Composed with various vegetable oils such as Cacao seed butter, Pracaxi seed oil, and Brazil nut seed oil, the natural oils leave a moist, smooth, shiny finish to the skin. Check out Wishtrend for more information on the Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub.

Packaging
The Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub comes packaged in a nice all white cardboard outer box. There's black text on the box and there's also a nice embossed leaf design on the front. Pretty simple packaging but its nice and clean which I like. Inside, the scrub comes in a squeeze tube package which I like a lot since it makes it easy to use when your in the shower or bath. Unlike the outer cardboard packaging, the design on the tube is very pretty and detailed. It has a red to orange gradient with a leafy design on it. It kind of makes me feel like I'm going somewhere tropical. The text on it is mostly in white and the name of the product is clearly labeled front and centered. Overall, you can tell a lot of thought was put into packaging this scrub which I like seeing.
Texture and Scent
The Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub has a grainy and thick consistency to it when you first squeeze it out of the tube. As you work the scrub in, you can definitely feel it exfoliating your skin since it has bits of small walnut shell granules in it. My skin is pretty dry and I do have dry patches so after even using this scrub once, I could tell a difference. All the oils in the scrub does help to keep the skin moisturized while your working the scrub into your skin. It left my skin feeling very smooth but I do recommend applying a good body lotion afterwards to help hydrate the skin even more.
When I first opened the scrub, the scent on it reminded me of an aroma therapy perfume which is a relaxing scent for a lot of people. After using it several times now, the smell isn't as strong when your using it in the shower. Its not something I'm really fond of but I'm okay with it since I really liked the results on how it made my skin feel afterwards. The scent does linger a little on the skin after you use the scrub but the smell is completely gone the next day for me.
How to Use
Apply the scrub to damp skin. Massage in a circular motion over the entire body. Rinse well. Use 2-3 times weekly.
My Review
The Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub was a great exfoliating body scrub for me. This was my first experience actually using a body scrub and it definitely won't be my last now. It helped to get rid of my dead skin and dry patches on my body while leaving my skin pretty soft after I rinsed the scrub off. I do recommend applying a good body lotion after using the Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub though to help keep the skin hydrated and to lock in the moisture. The only negative thing about this product would have to be the scent on it for me. It kind of has an aroma therapy perfume smell which I don't particularly like. It would have been better if it was more of a citrus scent instead. Other than that, I'm happy with the Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I would recommend the Jungle Bontancis Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub if your looking for a good exfoliating body scrub that's effective and for people who have dry skin in particular. If your sensitive to strong scents, this might be a product for you to skip. For me, I can handle the scent on it even though its not my favorite thing about it. I'm pleased with the results of how it left my skin feeling after using it so that's why I still like it a lot. It would be something for me to look into repurchasing it again once my bottle of it runs out or if I don't find another body scrub that I like better than this one.

Hi everyone! For today's nail art design, I will be using the last two items from Born Pretty Store that I got sent to review. I'll be using a vibrant rose stamping polish with a floral stamping plate so let's see what I did.
First, I used Hard Candy Lil Lilac on all the nails. Next, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 21# with stamping plate Y008 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Here's a closer look at stamping plate Y008. This stamping plate is split into two sections with either the stamping polish being the floral design or the dominant base color on your nails.
That rose stamping polish was such a dream to work with. It was very opaque and it picked up the image perfectly. I'm loving how these turned out too. So girly and pretty looking. I guess I was on a floral kick when I chose these two recent stamping plates from Born Pretty Store to review. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's post, I will be reviewing and trying out a new stamping polish and stamping plate I received from Born Pretty Store. I've always had great experiences with their stamping products so I'm excited to share this nail art design I created with them.
First, I used Misa Sunrise Dew on the ring and middle nail. Next, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 9# with stamping plate Qgirl-022 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the rest of the nails, I used Essie Rock The Boat. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Here's a closer look at stamping plate Qgirl-022. The whole stamping plate is filled with various floral designs to choose from to create the ultimate floral manicure.
This was an unusual pairing of colors but I think it looks great. The stamping plate had a nice mix of designs and the one floral design I used stamped really well with the blue stamping polish I used with it. I did wish the lighting was a little better when I took these pictures and that the image placement was a bit more centered though. What do you think?

Hello everyone! For today's nail art design, I combined a purple stamping marble with some floral stamping on top of it. The stamping marble technique has been something I've done a few times already and I'm always pretty happy with the results every time I create one. Let's see how it looks like then.
First, I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud on all the nails. Next, I used the stamping marble method with the base polish, China Glaze What A Pansy, and Julep Sylvia to create the base design. Then I stamped with China Glaze Devotion with stamping plate BP-L008 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I loved how these turned out. I really liked how the stamping marble turned out by itself because it has such an abstract look to it. The stamping isn't too noticeable but I kind of like that about it. What do you think?

Hi everyone! For today's nail polish swatch, I'm sharing a color you've probably seen me use multiple times already on the blog. I used to be a fan of pink when I was younger but as I got older, I didn't like it as much as I used to. However, the polish I'm sharing is a pink that has some purple undertones to it so let's see the color.
Essie Splash Of Grenadine is a purple toned pink creme. I really like this shade from Essie since its not too bright on the nails but its still vibrant enough to make it a fun color to wear for the Spring or Summer season. The formula was good so application was easy on it for me. This is two coats.
I really like this color from Essie a lot. I've worn it a few times on my nails before and I've always liked how it looks. The purple undertones in it reminds me of a orchid color. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! Over the weekend, I went to my mother's side of the family to celebrate my grandfather's birthday. It was nice catching up with other family members that I don't see often and to eat some delicious food too. For today's nail art, I stamped on some cute bubbles so let's see it.
I used Pahlish Hello, Goodbye! on the ring and middle nail. Next, I stamped with Ya Qin An 25 with MoYou London Fairy Tale Collection 06. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order from Born Pretty Store. For the rest of the nails, I used Nicole by OPI Stand By Your Manny. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I thought these turned out pretty nice even though the bubbles I stamped on are hardly noticeable in the pictures compared to how it looks in real life. I wasn't a fan of the formula on Nicole by OPI Stand By Your Manny though. The polish applied extremely patchy so it made it very hard to work with. What do you think?

Hi everyone! For today's post, I'm sharing swatches of a glitter polish that I own. Let's get right into it and see how it looks.
Spoiled by Wet n' Wild Pirate's Booty has a mix of mostly small gold and a little bit of small orange tone glitters in a clear base. The glitter pieces are very small so they kind of remind me of flakie bits. The formula and application on this polish was great for me. I feel like this glitter can be layered over so many different colors so the combinations are pretty endless. This is one coat over Nicole by OPI Spring Break with top coat.
This is such a nice glitter topper that I'm happy to have in my collection. I don't use it nearly as much as I should but every time I do, I'm always happy with it. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I can't believe its already August, the days seem to fly by for me. Anyways, for today's blue manicure, I created a gradient and topped it off with a nice soft white glitter topper. Let's see how it turned out.
I used China Glaze Kinetic Candy on all the nails. I sponged on the gradient using the base polish and L'Oreal Paris Avenues. Topped it off with Nubar White Polka Dot. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I'm really happy with how these nails turned out. I've been into gradients recently so creating this was a lot of fun. This was my first time using Nubar White Polka Dot and I like how subtle and soft the glitter pieces were. What do you think?
