Here's my product empties for the month of September. I didn't finish a lot this month but I still was able to empty a handful of things. I also used up a lot of my sample packet stuff which I didn't show here. Let's see what I thought of each product.
1. TonyMoly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub
This was suppose to be a scrub but I felt like it was just a gel like cleanser with little sugar bits in it. It smells like coffee but I was really expecting a scrub and this just wasn't it. It lathered okay so this was just an average cleanser to me. The only thing unique about it is the coffee scent and the packaging is super cute.
2. Tosowoong Aloe Natural Pure Essence
I really liked how it was packaged since I was able to pump out how much I wanted to use and its more sanitary too. The essence itself had a nice thin gel consistency to it and it felt very nice going on my skin. It wasn't sticky at all and it absorbed into my skin fairly quickly. I would totally pick up another bottle of it since I liked it so much.
3. KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat
This is one of my favorite fast drying top coats to use right now. Its affordable and it gives a nice glossy finish on the nails. The drying time on it is pretty fast too. Definitely a top coat I would repurchase.
4. Anacis Anti-Irritating Formula Triactive Dermatis Intensive Cream
I was using this cream as my morning moisturizer and it worked really well for me. I did have to work the cream a bit into my skin for it to fully absorb but it helped to keep my skin feeling pretty hydrated throughout the day. This small tube of it lasted me for quite a while too.
That's it for my product empties post for this month. My most favorite thing that I've used has to be the Tosowoong Aloe Natural Pure Essence so I was sad when I emptied it.

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is to create a manicure inspired by the 2016 pantone colors. The pantone colors for this year are rose quartz and serenity. I went with a simple design that I've done in the past using a fan brush so here's the result of it.
First, I used American Apparel California Trooper on all the nails. Next, I used a fan brush to apply on Nicole by OPI Selena and China Glaze Electric Beat horizontally across the nails. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I didn't have the exact color shade for the two pantone colors of the year so I went with colors that were pretty close to them instead. I love how they turned out applied on the nails with the fan brush this way too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I'm very excited to share this nail art with everyone today. I really enjoy creating stamping marbles so I decided to create an all blue one. I did an all purple one in the past and loved the result of it so here's an all blue version of it so let's see how it turned out.
First, I used China Glaze At Vase Value on all the nails. Next, I used the stamping marble technique to apply on the base polish, MisQs GR001, MisQs BL001, and Sephora by OPI Blue Grotto after swirling them together with my stamper. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I'm so happy with how this stamping marble design turned out. It always looks so different when I do it so the design turns out so unique each time. What do you think?

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I've created a double stamping
manicure so I decided to do one today. Since fall is here, I decided to go with a leaf design so let's see how it turned out.
First, I used Orly Ancient Jade on all the nails. Next, I double stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black and then Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 37# with stamping plate BP-54 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
The design isn't perfect but really liked how the double stamping looks in this leaf design regardless. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! Since fall is here, I wanted to create a manicure with some more muted colors for the colder weather right now. Let's see what I came up with then.
I used China Glaze Electric Beat on the ring and middle nail. I created the dotting design using a dotting tool with Dearberry 32, American Apparel Dynasty, and American Apparel Mac Arthur Park. For the rest of the nails, I applied Dearberry 32. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I did a similar design to this but instead of extending the lines, I decided to make this abstract circle pattern using the dots. It didn't turn out exactly how I imagined it but I did like the muted colors I used in here since I think it's perfect for fall. I did think it turned out a bit more messy looking than I was expecting though. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Since fall is here, here's a nice glitter swatch that I'm sharing today that would be perfect to layer over any warm shades. I tend to like gold glitters so this is one with a nice mix of other warm tones to it.
Sephora by OPI Come to Pappa-razzi! has a mix of big gold hexagon glitters, medium black hexagon glitters, and small micro copper glitters in a clear base. The formula and application on this glitter polish was pretty great for me. There was just the right amount of glitter and clear base polish in the bottle that I was able to get a pretty even coat on the nails. This is one coat over Julep Otte with top coat.
I'm very happy with this glitter polish. I think it would look great layered over any neutral color for the fall/winter season. I also liked how much glitter I was able to get on the nails with just one coat too. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is bright. I got inspiration for this design from watching this video, 10 Easy Nail Art Designs for Beginners: The Ultimate Guide #2 from cutepolish. Juli from JauntyJuli had a nice mix of designs for beginners and one particular design caught my eye so here's my recreation of it.
I used Sephora by OPI Let's Do Lunch on all the nails. I applied a stripe of Spoiled by Wet n' Wild Plastic Flamingo on an angle on the bottom of each nail. Taking a dotting tool, I dotted on two rows of dots using American Apparel Sunshine State. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out. There so many different color combinations you can use in this design to make it your own too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's nail art design, I used one of the MoYou London stamping plates that I purchased a while back but haven't used until now. I still have a lot of unused stamping plates in my collection but I'm slowly going through them and using them at least once in a manicure. Let's see the design then.
I used Finger Paints To-Teally Chic on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Gold with MoYou London Artist Collection 11 on the ring and middle nail. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order from Born Pretty Store. For the rest of the nails, I applied a glitter on top of the teal base using Spoiled by Wet n' Wild Pirate's Booty. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I'm super happy with how the gold aztec stamping turned out in particular. I think the gold goes so well with the teal too. I also got the aztec design pretty straight on my nails which makes me so happy. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I don't create a lot of animal themed manicures on the blog so I wanted to change that and create one today. My freehand skills isn't the best so I opted to stamp on an animal design instead. Let's see it.
I used MisQs SR001 on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with China Glaze Awaken with stamping plate BP-59 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the ring nail, I used Sally Hansen Celeb City and topped it off with MisQs GY001. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I liked how these turned out. The cat print was super cute on the nails. The brown and dark grey combination worked well together with the glittery silver accent nail too. What do you think?

Hi everyone! For today, I have a polish swatch to share with you all. I love a good creme polish so here's one that I'm showing that I think would be a great color to wear on the nails during the colder weather were heading into right now.
Julep Otte is a light brown creme. The formula was on the watery side but application on it was pretty good. I didn't have any trouble with it applying evenly on the nails. I think this is one of the only light brown creme polishes I own and I really like it. Its a nice neutral shade to wear on the nails on an everyday basis too. This is three coats.
I'm happy to have this light brown creme polish in my collection. I only own a handful of Julep polishes so I'm very satisfied with this color. I can picture myself wearing this polish a lot during the fall/winter season. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I was in the mood for something colorful so I decided to create a rainbow themed manicure today. I wanted a pretty simple design so I used the saran wrap technique for the base design and dotted on the rainbow colors with a dotting tool on top. Let's see how it turned out.
First, I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud on all the nails. After that fully dried, I used the saran wrap technique to apply Barielle Swizzle Stix on all the nails too. Next, I used a dotting tool to dot on the rainbow colors using Barielle Welcome Ohm, Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, China Glaze Starboard, American Apparel Sunshine State, Jessica Tangerine Dreamz, and American Apparel Downtown LA. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Aren't these so fun and colorful? I really enjoyed creating this manicure since I typically don't do a lot of colorful rainbow designs like this. What do you think?

Here's my product empties for the month of August. I was able to finish quite a few full sized as well as sample sized products this month so let's hear my thoughts on them.
1. Listerine Zero in Mild Mint
I ran out of Listerine so I decided to give this one a try since it was on sale and the Listerine Total Care Zero that I usually buy wasn't. It wasn't as good as the Total Care Zero one though since this one didn't give my mouth that sting that made me feel like it was really working. Going to continue using Listerine Total Care Zero one from now on.
2. Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Clinic E Plus Moisturizing
I got this cream in a set with others a while back but didn't get the chance to use it until recently. I liked it and it lasted me for quite a while too. I usually used it my itself or mixed it with other creams. Since I have dry skin, I did feel like this cream provided enough moisture for my skin.
3. Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Clinic C Plus Brightening
Like the other cream that I used up this month, this one was nice. I like that citrus scent to it and I used this cream both in the morning and at night. This one had more of a gel consistency to it and it was pretty lightweight on my skin which I liked.
4.Onyx Professional 100% Pure Acetone
This is the bottle of acetone I use to remove my nail polish with. I've went through with a few of these already and like it a lot. Even though acetone does dry up my nails when I use it, its so effective in removing nail polish.
5. Miracle 10 Night Cream
I didn't really like the scent on this cream the first time I used it on my face so I've only used it as my cream on my night as the last step. As a neck cream, it works great. It's moisturizing and didn't feel too sticky on.
6. Miracle 10 AHA Cream
Like the night cream, this one had a scent to it that I didn't like so I used it on my neck before I applied the night cream like it recommends. It was moisturizing and wasn't sticky so I'm happy about that.
That's it for my product empties for the month. I'm pleased with how much I was able to finish. Let me know your thoughts if you've tried any of the products I mentioned too.
