Happy Monday Blues! For today's manicure, I was inspired by this OPI Nordic Collection Leopard Print Nail Art from Chalkboard Nails that I saw when I was googling leopard print manicures online. I always like creating leopard print designs and I wanted to try it with a matte top coat too so here's the result of it.
I used Essie Very Structured on all the nails. I created the leopard print using American Apparel Port and MisQs GR001 with a dotting tool. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat and NYC Matte Me Crazy Mattifying Top Coat.
I really like how these turned out even though the base polish turned out a bit darker than what I was expecting. I think adding a matte top coat really helped to blend the turquoise and neutral colors together better too. I did wish the lighting was a bit better when I took these pictures since they look pretty dark here. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is to share your polish collection. To be honest, my nail polish collection isn't really organized since I just have them all randomly stored in two Melmers that I purchased from Michael's. Since each drawer basically looks almost the same, I'm just going to share one picture of it instead.
I try to keep most of the same brands together in one drawer if I can but most of my drawers look like the one above. I haven't purchased new polishes in a pretty long time so everything I own fits inside these two Melmers with some room to spare. I'm excited to see the everyone's polish collection since I think there's would be much more exciting than mine.

Happy Monday Blues! For today's manicure, I'm showing a design I've done multiple times already using a fan brush. Its so simple to do and the end result always ends up looking pretty great too. Let's see it then.
I used Sally Hansen Evening Fog on all the nails. I used the dry brush technique to apply on China Glaze Starboard and China Glaze Exotic Encounters horizontally and vertically on the nails. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat and then a coat of NYC Matte Me Crazy Mattifying Top Coat.
It's been too long since I've used a matte top coat so it was great using it in this manicure. The only negative thing was that the green and teal did end up looking very similar to one another on the nails. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing a polish swatch. I've been trying to share more swatch posts lately since I have so many polishes in my collection that I haven't worn and its much easier to do compared to nail art designs. This particular green polish I'm showing is a pretty unique shade in my collection so let's see it.
Orly It's Not Rocket Science is a murky mossy green with gold, yellow, and blue flecks with a slight duochrome to it in a sheer swampy green base. The color is one of those ugly shades that not everyone would like but there fun to own a few. Its definitely a unique color in my collection. The formula was nice so application was easy on it. This is two coats.
The blue flecks and shift to this polish isn't noticeable in my swatches but in real life, you can really see it. Its so unexpected and makes the polish that much more unique to me. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's blue manicure, I'm sharing a simple stamping over a texture polish. I own a few texture polishes and I really enjoy using them underneath a stamping design. So let's see it then.
I used Julie G Blueberry Fizz on the ring and middle nail. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 7# with MoYou London Suki Collection 07. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order from Born Pretty Store. For the rest of the nails, I used OPI I Don't Give A Rotterdam!. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat on all the nails except the ring and middle.
I'm really liking how these turned out. The dark blue swirls look so good against the blue texture polish. I also like the look of the blue and grey color scheme in this manicure too. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is inspired by a pattern. I was lacking inspiration so I went and tried to find a pattern to recreate on the nails. I found one that I liked so click here to see my inspiration. The original has a blue and grey color scheme but I wanted to change that up and decided to go for a purple and brown color scheme instead.
First, I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud on all the nails. Next, I used the stamping marble technique to apply the base polish, American Apparel Dynasty, China Glaze What A Pansy, and Sephora by OPI Metro Chic. After that dried, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in White with stamping plate BM-422 from Bundle Monster. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order from Born Pretty Store. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
These took a while for me to create but I'm pretty happy with it overall. It looks so soft and pretty. The only thing I wished I did better was getting the stamping image more straight across on my nails. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's polish swatch, I'm sharing a glitter polish. The lighting in the pictures isn't the best though so I'm sorry about that. Let's see what polish it is then.
Revlon Blue Mosaic mostly consists of small blue micro glitters with a mix of silver, green, and blue hexagon glitters in a very sheer light blue base. The formula was good and for application, I did use the dabbing method a little bit to get the glitter evenly distributed on the nails. I think this polish is best layered over a base polish since it would take quite a few coats to get full coverage. This is one coat over Barielle A Bouquet For Ava with top coat.
When this polish first came out, I actually went to my local drugstore to pick it up along with another color. Its actually not as special as I thought it was since I don't really wear the glitter all that much now. What do you think?

Here's my product empties for the month of October. I finished a few full sized products that took a while for me to use up which I'm happy about. Let's hear my thoughts on them then.
1. C20 Pure Vitamin C 21.5 Advanced Serum
I've always been intrigued to try out these Vitamin C serums so when I got this product, I was excited to use it. I mainly used this serum at night and I thought it worked really well for my skin. I do recommend storing it either in the refrigerator or a dry cool place since it will go bad faster if you don't. It absorbed pretty quickly into my skin and I felt like it did help to brighten my complexion a bit.
2. Migabee Beevenon & Honey Cream
This was such an interesting product since it says it contains bee venom which isn't something I've used in a skincare product before. I used this as my night cream and it worked really well. It help keep my skin feeling moisturized during the night. The scent isn't too strong on it too.
3. Jergens Ultra Care
This was my daily body lotion that I've been using and I quite liked it. I had a coupon to get a free bottle of it so I choose this particular one because it helps to relive dryness for visibly healthier skin. It kept my skin moisturized throughout the day so I was happy with it. It was pretty affordable too.
4. enesti Rice & Milk Foaming Cleanser
I thought I was going to really like this but when I tried it, it was just an okay cleanser for me. I thought the scent would be pretty mild but this instead had a pretty strong almost perfume like smell to it. I did like that it lathered really well as I was working it into my skin. I probably won't repurchase this.
That's all I finished for October. Not a lot of things but at least they were full sized and pretty big items for me. Let me know if you've tried any of the products I talked about and whether you liked them or not.
