Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is a holiday special mani. I wanted to try out creating this tree design using striping tape for the theme so I did just that. I added some festive gold polka dots over a red base as well so let's see how they turned out.
Starting with my pinky nail, I used China Glaze De-Light. For my ring and middle nail, I used L'Oreal Pistachio Dream. After that fully dried, I used striping tape to create the trees and filled it in with Color Club Ho-Ho-Holly. I peeled the striping tape off while the polish was still wet to reveal the design. Then I used a dotting tool to decorate the tree with the red and gold polish I used in this manicure. For the rest of the nails, I used OPI Off with Her Red! and then I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Gold with stamping plate BP-L006 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I had a little trouble with these nails but in the end, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I like that each design kind of goes really well with each other too. What do you think?
