The theme for today's Twinsie Tuesday is sparkle. When I think of sparkle, I usually think of a very sparkly glitter. So, that's what I went for in the manicure. I layered a pretty glitter over a pink base polish and finished it with a stamping accent nail. So, let's see the design then.
I used Sephora by OPI Let's Pilé on all the nails. For the ring nail, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 21# with stamping plate BP-34 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the rest of the nails, I applied Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri on top. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I really like the look of the Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri glitter topper. Its so pretty both in the bottle and applied on the nails. I think it goes so well with the sparkle theme too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! Today I'm sharing a simple blue creme polish swatch. Let's see the color then.
MisQs Kaya Nail Polish BL001 is a medium cobalt blue creme. This color kind of reminds me of the original Sally Hansen Pacific Blue which I own too. Its not the most unique color out there but I love a good creme polish and this one was great. The brush on this polish is on the wider side which makes application easier compared to the skinnier brushes for me. The formula was opaque and it applied really smooth on the nails. I could have even gotten away with just one coat if I applied it on a little thicker. This is two coats.
I got a set of these MisQs polishes from Wishtrend a while back and I've been enjoying the ones I've used so far. The mini bottles it comes in are so cute too. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Today I have a swatch post that I've had in my drafts folder since last year. I just had other things to post but I still have a few polishes that I swatched last year that I have yet to publish. Here's just one of a few so let's see the color.
Misa Green with Envy is a bright lime green creme. The best way to describe this color is that it reminds me of Shrek when I see it. It's a pretty unique shade in my collection so I'm quite pleased with the color even though I don't wear it a lot. The formula wasn't the best though which is strange since the other Misa polishes I own have a pretty good formula to them. This one applied kind of thick and I did notice some bubbling if I don't apply it carefully. This is two coats.
I like this color a lot but I wished the formula was a little better. Since it's kind of hard to apply, I tend not to wear it on my nails much other than using it in my nail art designs. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I've been liking the look of a double stamping manicure so here's another pretty simple one I did. I went with some more muted colors and I quite like how it looks. So far I've only double stamped using the same image but I am planning to try out this technique with different images to get a more layered effect. Anyways, let's see the manicure.
I used Ciaté Cream Soda on my ring and middle nails. I double stamped with Ya Qin An 23 and Ya Qin An 25 with stamping plate BP-67 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the rest of the nails, I used China Glaze Electric Beat. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
The double stamping turned out great which made me happy to see. I think the blue and purple color combination is nice too even though the purple looked pretty faint against the grey base polish. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is inspired by the season. Since today is Valentine's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to do a Valentine's Day theme design. I don't have a lot of free time this year but I wanted to at least create one Valentine's Day theme manicure and the theme today kind of gave me that chance to.
For the ring and middle nail, I used American Apparel Coney Island. I created some hearts using a dotting tool with Sally Hansen I Pink I Can and Gosh Hot Coral. For the rest of the nails, I used Wet n' Wild Candy-licious and applied Nicole by OPI Haley Good Lookin'... on top of that. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
My freehanded hearts aren't the best but I still think it looks pretty cute. You can also change up the colors of the hearts if the pink and red combination isn't your thing too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! My hair has been getting pretty long so I got my aunt to cut it short for me over the weekend. I've had the same hairstyle for a long time though that I'm thinking I need to change it up next time. If anyone knows of a good hair salon in Vancouver, please let me know. I think I'm going to get it cut professionally next time since I kind of want something different. I might even color my hair, who knows. Anyways, let's see what blue polish I'm sharing today.
Dearberry Today Nail Lacquer #32 Twilight is a shimmer dark blue with silver shimmers in it. What's interesting about this color is that it doesn't really have much of a shine to it by itself so if you want that glossy look, you will have to apply a top coat. I received this polish is a Memebox I purchased a long time ago. I actually quite like the polish a lot too. The formula was great on it that I could have even gotten away with one coat if I applied it on more thickly. This polish has a wider brush on it which I find makes the application on it easier. I also think the color is perfect to wear for the fall and winter season. This is two coats.
Overall, I'm very pretty pleased with this polish. I would totally pick up more colors from Dearberry if I ever come across them too. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I recently received some new products from Avon so I thought it would be fun to share with all what I received. I haven't tried anything out yet but I just wanted to share with you all the new products so that if your interested, you can pick something up for yourself on the Avon website.
Avon Little Red Dress Eau de Parfum Spray (1.7 fl.oz), Avon Little Red Dress Shower Gel (200ml), and Avon Little Red Dress Body Lotion (200ml)
Stand out in a crowd with sensual red raspberry, sophisticated Bulgarian rose, and rich red sandalwood.
Avon Perfect Eyebrow Kit, Silicone Grip Tweezer with Brow Brush, and Avon Perfect Brow Gel
The Avon Perfect Eyebrow Kit has a powder and setting wax with a dual-ended angled brush for you to apply the products on with. The colors it comes in are Blonde, Auburn, Soft Brown, and Deep Brown. The one I received was Blonde. The Silicone Grip Tweezers with Brow Brush is interesting with its stainless steel tweezers with a silicone grip design. Lastly, The Avon Perfect Brow Gel is a brush-on gel with fibers that helps to blend easily with your natural hair. It comes in Light Brown or Dark Brown. The color I received was the light brown.
Some very exciting products that I'm happy to try out. I'm probably most excited about the Avon Perfect Eyebrow Kit since I've mainly been using an eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows so I'm intrigued to use the powder and setting wax in the little kit. It also seems pretty handy to travel with too.
*Avon sent the products as a PR sample. My opinion is 100% honest.*

Happy Monday Blues! Over the weekend, we got hit with a lot of snow where I live. I love the snow and colder weather so I'm happy about it but its been hard to get to work at the same time. Anyways, let's see the manicure I'm sharing today.
Starting with my pinky and ring nail, I used Sephora by OPI I'm So Sari!. For the rest of the nails, I used Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. After making sure the blue was fully dried, I used the saran wrap method to apply Julep Nora and Julep Amber. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I liked how the two suede polishes I used looks applied this way even if they do look a little similar to each other here. I've always like the saran wrap method and you can layer so many different colors to create so many different designs too. What do you think?

Here's my January product empties! The month really flew by and I can't believe were already into February. I was able to finish a chunk of items too which makes me very happy so let's hear what I thought of them.
1. C20 Pure Vitamin C 21.5 Advanced Serum
This is my second bottle that I've finished and again, I did like it. It will go bad pretty fast if you don't store it in the refrigerator though. I'm not going to repurchase a bottle right now since I have so many other products to use up but once I finish those off, I will probably buy it again.
2. Enca AC Drying Pinky Powder
I've always heard about this pinky powders so I wanted to give one a try. I don't have a huge acne problem but I do get the occasional pimple so I thought this product would be great to spot treat them when I get one. It actually worked really well in reducing the redness and minimizing the appearance and size of it when I apply this pinky powder overnight. Overall, I was really happy with it.
3. echoice Dear Iris Perfume Body Mist
I don't usually wear fragrances so I didn't think I would like this body mist and I was right. For scents, I usually lend more to the fruity scents over the floral ones. I'm also throwing this out because its past its expiration date too.
4. Dove Regenerative Nourishment Serum-in-Oil
This hair oil was really nice and it smelled pretty good too. It helped to keep my hair moisturized and gave it a little bit of a glossy shine when I used it. I concentrated most of the hair oil on the ends of my hair. This would be something I would repurchase in the full size too.
5. Dr. MJ Jasmine Sleeping Water Mask
I used this at night and I really liked it. It has a thick gel like consistency to it so it felt very moisturizing when I had it on. It is quite heavy on the skin so that's why I think its perfect to use overnight when your sleeping. It also a nice scent to it too.
6. Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant in Clean & Fresh
I got this sample toothpaste from a sample website I'm a member of. I've been using Arm & Hammer toothpastes recently so I was happy to get a sample size of this one that I haven't tried before. I did enjoy it and it left my mouth feeling clean after I used it.
That's all for my product empties. I'm slowly but surely going through and using up all of the skincare products I've accumulated when I was obsessed with it. Hopefully by the end of the year, I would have finished everything and I can start purchasing new skincare items soon.
