Edén's Semilla Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Vitamin C Serum Review

Wednesday, April 5, 2017

Hi everyone! I was recently contacted by Edén's Semilla asking if I wanted to try out two of their new serums they released. Since I'm really into skincare right now, I said yes since I'm always interested in trying out new products. The two products I will be reviewing for you all today is the Edén's Semilla Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the Edén's Semilla Vitamin C Serum.

Where to Buy
Edén's Semilla's products can be purchased directly at their website here or through their Amazon.ca storefront here. Edén's Semilla Hyaluronic Acid Serum cost $26 for a 30ml bottle and Edén's Semilla Vitamin C Serum costs $15 for a 15ml bottle.

Packaging
Both of the serums came packaged in their own outer cardboard box. I like that they were both shrink wrapped which lets me know that I will be the first person to open and take the product out. On the outer cardboard box, there both identified with different colors and lists all the necessary information you might need to know about the product.

When you open the box, the serums are packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper applicator to them. The dropper on both serums are bigger than what I've used or seen before too. Since the serums are on the thicker gel side, the openings on both of the droppers are wider so your able to get the product out easier I assume. What's neat about them is that the cap on the bottles have a lock to them. You have to press down and twist to open them which makes it a little more secure when your traveling with them. I received the Hyaluronic Acid Serum in the 30ml size and the Vitamin C Serum in the 15ml size. I like that they offer different sizes to their serums since it allows you choose a smaller size if your not ready to comment to a full size of it.

Texture and Scent
For the Hyaluronic Acid Serum, I didn't notice much of a scent on it but the Vitamin C Serum had a faint citrus scent on it. The texture for both of the serums was a thick gel like consistency. Both of the serums are mostly clear but I did notice the Vitamin C Serum had a very faint tinge to it. They both felt very cooling when applied to the skin. Even more so if you store them in the refrigerator.

How to Use
Hyaluronic Acid Serum: For best results, apply to damp or dry skin. Allow to absorb before application of moisturizer or other facial treatments.
Vitamin C Serum: Apply a small amount to facial area and gently massage. Allow to fully absorb before application of other facial treatments.

My Review
I've been using both the Edén's Semilla Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the Edén's Semilla Vitamin C Serum for about two months now and I can say I really enjoy them. I'm especially a fan of the Hyaluronic Acid Serum since I do have dry skin and I really felt like this serum gave my skin an added boost of moisture whenever I used it. I felt like my skin had an extra glow to it when I had this serum on. On the other hand, the Vitamin C Serum was also pretty hydrating and I felt whenever I applied that one, my face looked extra awake and brighter. There nice natural and organic serums to add into your skincare routine and I think they work really well too. I like that there so affordable and that there's various sizes for you choose from if your not ready to commit to the full size of it. I also felt like my skin didn't break out as much when I started using these two serums. I usually get the occasional pimple around either my chin or middle of my eyebrow area but I noticed that it rarely happened and if it did, it was much smaller than it used to be.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I recommend both the Edén's Semilla Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Edén's Semilla Vitamin C Serum  if your in the market for new natural and organic serums. I still have a bunch of skincare products to finish up at the moment but I'm going to be savoring both of these serums until I finish them up. Once I've emptied all the other skincare products I have, I'm definitely going to repurchase these and maybe try out some of their natural facial oils they offer too. Both serums are definitely ones I can see myself using over and over again. So check out Edén's Semilla by their website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

  1. Hi Lisa, I notice lots of companies coming out with hyaluronic acid treatments now. Thanks for your review of this line. I personally have been using the Garnier versions of similar products, and I enjoy their benefits and lower price point. For those looking for more luxury-level products, this brand might be the way to go. :)

  3. A combination of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C serum is currently ruling the global skincare products markets. They are considered one of the most popular
skincare ingredients in modern days. But before using them together, you should first know how to layer hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C together on the skin.

  5. The facial serum is a treatment with great moisturizing power. It has a high concentration of active ingredients and acts on the deepest layers of the skin.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. It fights free radicals and prevents photoaging.
The serum with vitamin C has great anti-aging power. Fight wrinkles, expression lines and blemishes. In addition, it stimulates the synthesis of collagen.

  6. The good old vitamin C. Also called ascorbic acid in the trade. You probably know it mainly from the field of nutrition and, for some time now, perhaps also as a convincing skin care hero. Basically, vitamin C is a water-soluble and essential vitamin for us.
