Hi everyone! I have a quick polish swatch to share today. This one is a nice pale neutral color so let's see it the polish.
Sephora by OPI Let's Pilé is a pale peachy nude with a subtle silver shimmer in it. I don't usually go for nude colors but its a nice change on the nails every once in a while. However, the formula was pretty watery and thin so application was pretty bad. I even had to be extra careful when applying the color so it wouldn't flood my cuticles. This is four coats.
In the end, this polish was just okay for me. I would have liked it much more if the formula was better though since four coats is a little much for me. I do however still enjoy the color and will go for it when I'm in the mood for something light and simple on the nails. What do you think?

Hi Lisa, oooh, it's so pretty! But formulas that are a pain in the you-know-what just aren't worth it to me. I have a few that I've gotten rid of because otherwise, I go to use them, forgetting how annoying they are! You did a wonderful application job with this difficult polish. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Cat! The formula was a pain to work with but its hard to for to throw away a polish when there's still so much left in it, lol.
DeleteOh man! I remember wanting this SOPI desperately, back in the day when I first started obsessing about nail polish. I don't think I ever found, which is a shame because the color is lovely. Sad about the formula, though! They were pretty hit or miss with this line!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know this color was that popular. Its pretty but yeah, the formula is not the best.
DeleteThis is gorgeous, it reminds me an awful lot of China Glaze's 'Nude' which I also had cuticle floodage with if I wasn't really careful but the results are stunning, I love how glossy and perfect your nails look!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Sometimes a nice color will require a little work but I'm happy with how it looks in the end.
DeletePerfect nude shade, looks elegant on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot!
