Red with Blue Glitter and White Faded Stamping

Happy Monday Blues! This weekend, my workplace had a karaoke night on Sunday. I didn't go to the last company outing but I was able to go to this one. I haven't really been to karaoke before so it was fun going to one and hearing others sing. Anyways, let's see today's nail art.

First, I used Sephora by OPI I'm So Sari! on the ring, middle, and thumb nail. Next, I stamped with Milani White On The Spot with stamping plate BP-55 from Born Pretty Store. For the stamper, I used this new Born Pretty Christmas Nail Art Stamper. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the rest of the nails, I used Jessica Atomic Red. Finished with a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

Here's a closer look at the Born Pretty Christmas Nail Art Stamper. After using this stamper for this manicure, I did find it hard to use. I did like the size of it though since it allows me to pick up larger images. The stampers I've used in the past have been more firm and less sticky than this one. I still need to practice using it because I found it very hard to pick up and transfer the image onto my nails as you can see in this manicure. Every time I tried to pick up the image, it would only partially get the design. I attempted multiple times and this was the best I could do.

I'm not too happy with how these turned out. I think I would have liked it a lot more if the stamping turned out better. I did try picking up the image with a more firmer stamper that I usually use afterwards and it picked up the design much better. If anyone has any tips on how to use this soft and sticky stamper, please let me know. What do you think?

*Born Pretty Store sent the Born Pretty Christmas Nail Art Stamper for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest.*

  1. What I notice with my super sticky stamper is that I have to use much less pressure on the plate. If I push to hard I get the exact pick-up you described... only part of the image on the stamper head. I also find that a slight rolling pick-up works best... pressing straight down does nothing. My sticky stamper is a different brand so this might not be true for the one you are using but it is worth a try.

    1. Thanks for the help! I'll try it out the next time I stamp but I think I still prefer my firmer stampers instead.

  2. I love the combination of the glitter nail polish with the red. I have the stamper too but until now I didn't tried it. I am curious if it works properly.

  3. I like the stamping on your middle nail!
I have one of these stampers too and I actually haven't even used it - I can't let go of my see-through stampers now!
