Here's my product empties post for August. I actually had to type out this post twice since my original post disappeared from my drafts folder on blogger. This isn't the first time that its happened to me but its always such a bummer when it does. Anyways, let's see what products I emptied this month.
1. The Skin House Aloe Soothing Vitamin Gel
This was my morning skincare product that I was using and I really liked it. Since its a gel, it felt very cooling on the skin especially since its so hot right now. I liked the scent on it and the tub lasted me quite a while too. Definitely something I would think of repurchasing.
2. The Yeon Jeju Hallabong Energy Mild All In One Serum
This is my second bottle of this serum and I like it a lot. It had a nice citrus scent to it and it felt really good applied on my skin. I like that every time I used this serum, my skin looked extra healthy and glowy too.
3. Dr. MJ Moisture Bounce Collagen Capsule Cream
For this product, I'm still using it but I had to transfer it into another container. I don't know why but for some reason, this product was very watery so it was hard for me to use it as it was. It has a watery oily consistency to it and its hydrating on the skin. However, since its so watery, I find it so hard to use.
4. PureSmile Powder in Refresh Sheets
These are scented wet wipes and I thought they were okay. The scent kind of had a chemical smell to it and you have to use them up fast since they do dry out pretty quickly once you open up a pack.
5. Etude House Drawing Eye Brow
I bought a ton of these drawing eye brow refills and I finally finished one. These eyebrow pencil refills lasted me quite a while and I like it but I wasn't in love with them. Sometimes when I was filling in my eyebrows with them, it can get a little patchy so I do have to warm up the product on my hand before using it.
Overall, I'm pretty pleased with what I finished up for this month. Let me know what you've emptied out this month or if you've tried any of the products I mentioned.

Happy Monday Blues! I thought the weather was getting a little cooler but I spoke too soon since the past week has been really hot in the afternoon/evening. I really want fall to come already since I'm so over this hot weather right now. Anyways, I have a polish swatch to share today so let's get right into it.
Nicole by OPI Stand By Your Manny is a light pastel blue packed with silver shimmers. I really like the color of this polish but the formula was pretty difficult to work with. I found the formula kind of runny and thick so that made application really patchy for me. I had to apply a few thick coats to even out that patchiness on the nails. I also found drying time on this polish pretty long compared to other Nicole by OPI polishes I've used before too. This is four coats.
I applied a lot of coats so I did notice some bubbling happening. Since the formula is bad, I don't find myself wearing this polish a lot. Its a shame though since I really do like the color of it. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Today, I have a polish swatch to share. I've been doing a lot more swatches since I have a lot in my blogging folder that I haven't shared yet and I find them much more easier to do compared to nail art designs. Since I'm working full time, I don't really have much time to create nail art designs when I have my days off from work which I'm a little sad about. I'm still able to do a little though which I'm content with for now. Anyways, let's see the polish.
Funky Fingers Jawbreaker is a white crelly with touch of grey to it packed with various sized red, yellow, blue, and purple hexagon glitters. I really like the look of this crelly polish and should wear it more often. The formula was on the sheer side which I do expect from crelly polishes. Even though it was little sheer, I found the application pretty good and I had no trouble getting a good amount of glitter onto my nails. If you want to lessen the amount of coats you have to apply, I suggest layering this polish over a white base polish first. This is three coats with top coat.
I'm really pleased with this polish. I could have gotten away with just two coats if I applied the polish a bit more thickly too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! The weather has been cooling down a little where I live right now. I find it cold in the morning but it gets warmer later on in the day. I can't wait for fall to come though since I much prefer colder weather. Anyways, let's see what polish I'm swatching today.
Icing Pop A Bottle has a mix of gold, pink, and blue small glitters in a clear base. This is such a pretty glitter polish to layer over any base color or to wear just as it is. The formula was a little thick but application was great on it. I could tell just from opening the bottle that this polish was packed with a lot of glitter. So, I feel like I don't necessarily have to sponge the glitter on to get full coverage. This is one coat over American Apparel Neon Blue with top coat.
As you can see, even one coat of this polish covered a good amount of my nails so I'm very pleased with this glitter polish. I don't know why I don't wear it often but I'm totally going to now since its just so pretty and sparkly. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I have a polish swatch to share today so let's see what is it then.
Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Wool Lite has small light pink bar glitters in a clear base. This polish is so packed with bar glitter in the clear base that I didn't have trouble getting an even coverage on the nails. The formula was good on it so application was also good. Bar glitters is probably one of my least favorite types of glitters but surprisingly, I don't mind this polish at all. Like what the bottle says, it does give your nails a fuzzy kind of look to it. This is one coat over Dearberry Today Nail Lacquer #21 Pink Sprinkling with top coat.
Its always fun to unexpectedly like a polish you thought you would dislike. I'm glad to have this polish in my collection because its something different for me to use than the normal hexagon glitters I like. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I had a little trouble focusing on this polish when I was taking pictures of it so sorry if the swatches are a little blurry in some areas. Anyways, let's see the polish I'm sharing today.
American Apparel Neon Blue is dusky teal creme with some grey undertones to it. This is suppose to be a neon polish but its not. I've seen other people swatch this color and for some reason, the color they swatched looks different from the one I have. The color is suppose to be a brighter blue but my bottle definitely looks more teal in shade. Even though its not a neon polish I still like the color of it. Formula was on the watery thin side but application was pretty good on it too. One thing to note is that this polish does stain your nails if your not wearing a good base coat. This is three coats.
Since this color does stain the nails, I don't wear it often as a full manicure. I mainly use it with I'm creating nail art designs instead. Even though its not a neon polish, its still a nice shade especially to wear for fall or winter. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Today, I have an exciting review on some glass nail files and nail care tools from Mont Bleu. I've heard a lot of good things about this company but haven't tried any of their products until now. They sent me a few things to try out so let's get right into the review.
Where to Buy
You can purchase the products from Mont Bleu from their e-shop or their Amazon store page. If you want to partner with Mont Bleu, you can check out their wholesale website for more information.
Packaging
When the items arrived, the first thing I noticed was how nice everything was packaged. Everything was bubbled wrapped and in three different cardboard boxes within another bigger cardboard box. I did think the packaging was a little excessive though since everything was so small and didn't need all that extra protection but I do appreciate it though.
The Products
For the products I was sent, I received the Mont Bleu Cuticle Scissors, Mont Bleu Set of Two Manicure Tools: Nail Cleaner and Cuticle Pusher, and a Set of Three Czech Glass Nail Files with Crystals.
Starting with the Mont Bleu Cuticle Scissors, I could tell right away that the quality on them was really nice. They are made in Italy and sharpened in Sollingen, Germany. The scissors are nickel plated and the surface of it has a matte brush polished finish to it. I have owned cuticle scissors in the past but haven't really used them all that much before. The Mont Bleu website provides a lot of helpful information on what the Cuticle Scissors are for which I found very helpful for a newbie in nail care tools like me. Cuticle Scissors as you can probably guess are for helping to get rid of all dead skin around the nail's base and to trim a hangnail. I used to cut my cuticles but after finding out that its kind of bad to do that, I haven't been doing that anymore. Instead, I found these Cuticle Scissors much more useful in trimming my hangnail. I do have a habit of picking at them so with these scissors, I'm able to cut them off first before I do that. I also like that I can get really close to my skin with the scissors when trimming my hangnail with out cutting my skin by accident.
Next, let's talk about the Mont Bleu Nail Cleaner and Cuticle Pusher. Both tools are made of high quality stainless steel that's suppose to last a lifetime with a matte brushed polishes surface. Like the Cuticle Scissors, these were made in Italy and sharpened in Sollingen, Germany as well. These two tools are suppose to help clean nails and keep your cuticle tidy. I have used a cuticle pusher in the past but the ones I've used before were either the wooden or plastic ones. Those are not very hygienic so getting one that's made of stainless steel and can be used over and over again was great. It worked well in pushing my cuticles and I found it easy to hold when using it. It has a nice weight to it and I found it really quick to use compared to the other cuticle pushers I have tried. For the Nail Cleaner, I haven't found much use for it yet. I do use it in conjunction with the Cuticle Pusher since after I pushed my cuticle back, I use the tool to help me to get rid and clean up all the dead skin that came off. Other than that, I like the tool as well but not as much as the Cuticle Pusher.
Lastly, let's talk about the Set of Three Czech Glass Nail Files with Crystals. I like the three different sizes it comes in which includes a large (195 mm/7.68 in), medium (135 mm/5.32 in) and small (90 mm/3.54 in) size. The glass nail files themselves are made really nice and they feel very high quality to me too. The nail files are made from Czech tempered glass in Bohemia and have a lifetime warranty on the filling surface. I'm not usually a fan of pink but on these glass nail files along with the Swarovksi crystals decorating it, I really think its pretty. I have to say there probably one of the prettiest glass nail files I have owned. They also have various color options for you to choose from if the pink isn't to your liking. I like that each glass nail file came with its own black velvet sleeves. Since I'm a little clumsy, having the extra protection to them with the velvet sleeves will prevent any damage happening to the nail files when I carry them around with me.
My Review
This isn't my first time using glass nail files so I was really pleased with the quality from Mont Bleu. I was particularly happy with the three glass nail files I received. They worked well in filing my nails and I like the three different sizes they come in since I'm able to use them all in different situations. There also so pretty with the Swaroski crystals decorated on them. I love using glass nail files now compared to the cardboard nail files since they last much longer and there more effective in filing my nails without causing any damage to my nails. For the nail care tools, I like them because they work well and I'm able to tell their quality made. I don't use them all that often but for people who are looking for good nail care tools, the ones from Mont Bleu are something for you to check out.
Final Thoughts
Overall, if your looking for high quality made glass nail files and other nail care tools, I definitely recommend you to check out Mont Bleu. They have a ton of variety and different designs to choose along with pretty reasonable prices. You can purchase from their e-shop or Amazon store page. They also have a wholesale website if your interested in partnering with them. Be sure to follow Mont Bleu through their various social media links including Facebook, Instagram, Google+, and Twitter.
*Mont Bleu sent these products for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest.*

Happy Monday Blues! For today's polish swatch, I'm sharing a festive glitter polish. Even though its still summer, I still think you can wear any polish you want on your nails. Anyways, let's see the swatches.
Nicole by OPI Bring On The Tinsel has a mix of red, yellow, green, blue, and silver small glitters in a clear base. This polish is pretty festive to wear during the holiday season in particular. The formula and application was really good. With just one coat, I got a pretty decent amount of glitter coverage on the nails. If you want fuller coverage, I definitely recommend sponging on the glitter though. This is one coat over American Apparel American Denim with top coat.
This glitter polish is definitely a perfect glitter to layer over any color during the holiday season. I'm not a huge fan of small glitters like this one but I actually don't mind the look of this polish at all. Overall, I'm very happy with it and can't wait to wear it more during the holiday season. What do you think?

Hi everyone! This is my product empties posts for the month of July. Let's get right into and see what I finished up then.
1. Listerine Total Care Zero
My favorite mouth wash and I have back ups already for when I finished this too.
2. The Face Shop Pomegranate and Collagen Volume Lifting Essence
I really enjoyed using this essence. It felt nice going on my skin and I enjoyed the fruity scent to it. I like the pump packaging to it since it made applying the essence easier and more sanitary. I would definitely think about repurchasing this again.
3. Chamos ACACI Pomegranate Anti-Wrinkle Cream
This was my night time cream and I really liked it. It had a nice light texture to it which was great to use right now since when I applied it to my skin, it had a nice cooling sensation. The scent was fresh and I felt like it moisturized my face well especially during these hot months right now. Definitely a product I would think to repurchase again.
4. It's Skin Cookie & Hand Cream Strawberry
This is a hand cream and I liked it a lot. It had a nice sweet Strawberry scent to it and it left my hands feeling moisturized every time I used it. The tub it comes it makes it inconvenient to carry around so I mainly apply to this my hands when I'm about to go to sleep.
5. Kocostar Face Spot Mirror Patch
These are pimple patches and I thought they worked okay. I applied one when I had a pimple and I didn't notice much of a difference other than the pimple not growing any bigger. I used it right when I was going to sleep and took it off in the morning. I do like that they come in two sizes to use and 36 patches was quite a lot to use up too.
6. Cleomee Three Layer Perfume Body Oil Mist
As you can tell, I didn't use this product at all but that's only before the spray part of it doesn't seem to work. I notice a crack down the center of the spray so I think that's why nothing is coming out no matter how many times I press down. Its a shame since I really wanted to try this out but since I have no way to get it out, I'll have to throw it away.
That's all the things I finished in July. Pretty happy with how many products I was able to empty out too. Let me know what you emptied or thought of these products if you've tried them out yourself.
