Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is stamping decals. I was planning to do a full stamping decal manicure but I was a little
pressed for time so I only did the stamping decal on one nail instead. So, let's go ahead and see the design then.
I used Sephora by OPI Metro Too Chic on all the nails. For the stamping decal I created, I used stamping plate BP-61 from Born Pretty Store along with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black, Julep Joy, and Julep Sylvia. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I still think it turned out pretty cute with the stamping decal as a accent nail here. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I have another blue polish swatch to share today. I'm actually a little behind on my blog posts since the weather has been terrible and my nails haven't been in the best condition recently. I only have posts scheduled for the next two weeks but hopefully I can be back on schedule soon. Anyways, let's see the polish.
Chi Chi Baby We Can Parlez has a mix of blue, green, and silver hexagon and small glitters in a sheer dark blue jelly base. In the bottle, it almost looks like a glittery galaxy and I found it looks just as great on the nails too. However, I did find the formula to be on the watery and thin side so I did find application a little difficult since I had to be extra careful not to flood my nails with it. This is three coats with top coat.
I'm pretty happy with the polish and how it looks on the nails but I just wished the formula was a little better. I think this polish will be better layered over a base color instead of worn my itself since it does take a few coats to build up the coverage. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Since I don't have much time to do nail art these nails, I've been sharing polish swatches instead which is also good. I haven't bought any new nail polish in a really long since I'm pretty content with what I have in my collection and sharing these swatches is a great way for me to discover colors I already have. Here's a nice red that I'm sharing today.
GOSH Hot Coral is a bright coral red creme. This is the only GOSH polish I own but I should really try out more colors from this brand. I don't find this color all that unique but if your looking for a vibrant coral red creme polish, I recommend checking this one out. The formula was opaque enough that I could have gotten away with one coat so I found application on this polish great. I did wish the brush on this polish was more on the thicker side since I prefer that kind of brush over the skinny ones. This is two coats.
This polish without top coat was pretty shiny on its own which was nice to see. I think its a great shade for Summer to wear as a manicure or pedicure color too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! The weather where I live has been really rainy and cold which makes me happy since I much prefer the colder weather. So for today's nail polish swatch, I'm sharing a color that's perfect to wear during the colder season right now. Let's go ahead and check it out.
Chi Chi Wango Tango is a dark blacken blue packed with a bright teal shimmer with a subtle iridiscent purple flash to it. This polish is so hard to describe so you really have to see it in person to know how pretty it is. The iridiscent purple flash is pretty subtle and shows up when you look at the polish at a certain angle which is pretty cool. The polish had a nice formula to it so I found pretty easy on it. This is two coats.
I'm pretty pleased with this color and think its so perfect for fall/winter too. I'm definitely going to be wearing this color a lot. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is black and orange. Since Halloween is in October, I thought it would be appropriate to create a Halloween themed manicure. This is also probably going to be the only Halloween themed manicure I'm sharing this year since I've been busy lately so let's see it.
I used Orly Right Amount Of Evil on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black with stamping plate BP-81 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I think these turned out pretty great. The treat or treat words on my ring nail was a little faded in the pictures but it looks find in real life. It simple and I think it would look great worn during Halloween. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! Today I'm sharing a polish swatch of a glitter polish so let's get right to it.
Girly Bits Eight Crazy Nights is packed with blue, silver, and holographic hexagon, square, diamond, and micro glitter pieces in a clear base. The glitter topper is pretty awesome layered over a base color like this. I found the formula great so this made application really easy on it. The polish is so packed with glitter that I found it pretty easy to get a nice even coat of glitter on the nails without using the dabbing method. This is two coats over China Glaze Electric Beat with top coat.
Overall, a pretty great glitter topper especially if you like blue, silver, and holographic together. I really enjoy the glitter and I'm happy to have it in my collection. What do you think?

Hi everyone! It's finally my day off from work. I don't work Wednesday and Thursday so I can relax and sleep in during these two days. Every time I go back to work, I always look forward to when my days off are coming. Anyways, I have a polish swatch to share today so let's see the color.
Nicole by OPI Alex By The Books is a minty seafoam green creme. This is such a wonderful pastel like color for Spring. Formula was a little streaky but the application on this polish was still pretty good. I like that the brush on it was on the wider side which makes covering the nail much more easier for me. This is two coats.
I think this seafoam green is really nice but sadly I just don't wear it a lot for some reason. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! The fall weather is finally here where I live. It's been getting a lot colder these days which I really like since that means I can start wearing scarves and sweaters now. Anyways, let's see the blue polish I'm swatching today.
China Glaze Electric Beat is a soft faded periwinkle blue creme. I'm so in love with this color and love it more each time I wear it on my nails. The shade is soft and muted which I really like and what I tend to gravitate towards. The color is a pretty unique blue in my collection as well. The formula and application on this polish was great too. This is two coats.
Overall, I just love this polish. I'm extremely happy to own this color and plan to wear it a lot during the fall/winter season. What do you think?

The theme for today's Twinsie Tuesday is inspired by the colors of your blog. My blog colors are white, pink, and gold so I created a manicure using those three colors.
I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all the nails. I double stamped using OPI Pink Friday and Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Gold with stamping plate BP-L026 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I couldn't find an exact design to match the one on my blog so I looked through my stamping plates and used something very similar to it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and its probably one of my most favorite designs I have created so far this year too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! It's been a while since I've swatched one of my indie brand polishes so here's one for today. I do tend to go towards more mainstream brands since its more readily available to me but I find indie brand polishes much more unique in the colors and finishes they offer though. Anyways, let's see the polish then.
Daring Digits T-Shirt + Jeans is a soft white crelly with blue hexagon and micro glitters in it. This is a nice refreshing color on the nails. I don't own a lot of crelly polishes so this one is definitely a unique one in my collection. The formula on this polish was kind of thick so this made application a little tricky for me. Since its so thick and I had to layer on a few coats, I did notice some bubbling happening. I definitely recommend applying this polish over a white base if you don't want to have to build up the coverage to get it fully opaque. This is three coats with top coat.
Overall, this polish was just okay for me. I wish the formula wasn't so thick but I think applying the polish over a white base polish is the way to go with it. What do you think?
