Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is camo. This manicure was a bit rushed since the weather during the day I took these pictures wasn't the best and I had to work quickly before it got too dark. So, let's check out my design.
First, I used China Glaze Mahogany Magic on all the nails. Next, I created the simple camouflage print with Nicole by OPI My Jay Or The Highway!, OPI I Brake For Manicures, and American Apparel Hassid with a dotting tool. Lastly, I finished with a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
It's been a really long time since I've done a camouflage print so I thought these turned out just okay. I went with a more neutral color scheme which I think fits with the cold weather right now. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! So the past week I've been feeling a little down. Hopefully, this week will be a bit better than last week. To help, I've been shopping online a bit more and trying to relax when I can. I've also decided to upgrade my phone so I'm waiting for that to arrive in the mail. Anyways, let's see today's blue nail polish.
Essie Rock The Boat is a soft pale sky blue with a subtle shimmer running through it. I really like the shade of blue this polish is and that shimmer in it just makes it so much more pretty. Even though I really like the color, the formula wasn't the greatest. I found the formula streaky so I had trouble with applying the color on the nails evenly. This is three coats.
So even though the formula isn't the best, I'm still pretty fond of the color and will continue to wear it on my nails often. What do you think?

Hi everyone! The weather for this entire week is suppose to be raining all day which I like but its not good for me to take any pictures though. I'm a little behind on my posts I have planned so hopefully, the weather will clear up a little so I can take some pictures. Anyways, I have a glitter polish to share for today's swatch post so let's get right into it.
Nicole by OPI Haley Good Lookin'... has pink micro glitters and larger hexagon glitters in a clear base. The hexagon glitters do have a little of a holographic effect to it when the light hits it which adds something different to the polish. The formula had a good amount of glitter to clear base so I found application on this polish great. The glittery payoff was pretty good with just one coat too. This is one coat over GOSH Hot Coral.
Even though this glitter looks pretty in the bottle, I just didn't like how it looked on the nails here. I think I might have to either try wearing it on its own or layering it over another base polish. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! The weather where I live has been getting colder and there's been a lot of rain this past week which I'm happy about. I do wish that it will start snowing soon since December is almost here and I really enjoy having a snowy cold winter. Anyways, here's my blue nail art manicure!
I used Love & Beauty Sand Lacquer Blue Jewel on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in White with stamping plate BM-316 from Bundle Monster. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order from Born Pretty Store.
The stamping turned out a little warped and faded but I still think it looks good. I tried to get it on the center of my nails and I think I did a pretty good job with it. What do you think?

Todays' Twinsie Tuesday theme is inspired by your mug. The mug I've been using hasn't changed at all from last time. So, its basically a dark blue colored mug with a lighter cream shade inside so I decided to create a design using similar colors to my mug. It's been a while since I've done a dry brush manicure so I thought today will be a good chance to do one.
I used Finger Paints To-Teally Chic on all the nails. I used the dry brush technique with Ciaté Cream Soda and OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
This dry brush design is a lot more subtle than what I've done before but I really like how it turned out. It's subtle but its great if you want a design on the nails that's not too flashy. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! Today I'm swatching a texture polish. I don't think I've ever done any swatch posts on a texture polish until now so let's get right into it.
Love & Beauty Sand Lacquer Blue Jewel is a medium blue texture polish packed with teal and gold flecks. The color of this texture polish is gorgeous and one I tend to gravitate towards. I purchased a set of these Love & Beauty Sand Lacquer polishes from Forever21 a while ago when texture polishes was starting to come out. I've tried out each color and I really like them a lot. The formula was on the thicker side but I didn't find application on it too hard. This is two coats.
Texture polishes are typically worn as is but if your not a fan of the rough texture it has on the nails, you can definitely still apply a top coat on top of it. It does dull the cool texture look to it but overall, the color is still pretty nice on the nails. What do you think?

Here's my product empties for the month of October. I didn't really finish one individual product this month but I did go through my makeup collection and decided to throw out a lot of products. The main reasons I decided to throw these out are either because they expired or I've haven't used them in a really long time. Hopefully next month, I will have actually products I've emptied to show.
1. Miscellaneous Makeup Products
I was planning to create some manicures for my blog during the two days I have off work during one week but it was raining those two days so instead, I decided to go through my makeup collection. I have some makeup, not a lot but I haven't used quite a few of them in a couple of years so I thought it was time to throw some things out. Now that I look at it, it seems like a lot. Most of these products I decided to throw out were either because its expired or I haven't touched them in a while. I still have some makeup left but its all fits into two drawers instead of three now. I don't wear makeup all that often so I'm okay with parting with these even though its difficult for me to throw anything away.
Let me know what you've emptied this month. I'm a bit sad to throw these products out but I just don't use them anymore and its really bad to keep such old cosmetics around.

Happy Monday Blues! I was in the mood for some simple galaxy nails so I created a pretty simple one here. The blue polish I used looked like outer space and along with the stars I stamped on, it resembles a galaxy to me.
I used Chi Chi Baby We Can Parlez on all the nails. I stamped with Ya Qin An 26 with stamping plate BP-06 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I like this manicure quite a bit since its so simple but really pretty at the same time. What do you think?
